Ninth anniversary of 'Miracle on the Hudson'
Today marks the ninth anniversary of the Miracle on the Hudson. On January 15, 2009, US Airways Flight 1549 struck a flock of Canada geese, shortly after takeoff at LaGuardia Airport, and lost all engine power. Pilots Chesley Sullenberger and Jeffrey Skiles glided the plane into the Hudson River, off Midtown Manhattan.
