“Summer in the City”
Over 60,000 attendees will enjoy an outdoor R&B, Rock and Hip Hop concert, featuring regional dance events, College “Step Show” Competitions and an outdoor film festival. There will also be exhibitors and vendors providing delicious foods, creative arts & crafts, clothing and much more. Checkout all of the “Summer in the City” events listed below:

NYC “Children’s Festival” (Day I)
Over 10,000 children between ages 5 to 12 years of age and family members attend to enjoy storytelling, children’s entertainment (daily performances showcasing tap dancers, dance troupes, step shows, hip hop dancers, theater, poetry and vocalists), arts & crafts, double dutch competitions, face painting, technology, health services, super heroes, dance lessons and sporting events.

“Harlem Honeys & Bears”

Higher Education Fair & Expo
The Higher Education Fair & Expo will take place during “Summer in the City” and offers information on financial aid and college tours for colleges and universities throughout the United States with a special emphasis on Historically Black Colleges with over 50 HBCUs attending. More than 15,000 students, parents, alumni and recruiters attend from around the Greater New York metropolitan area to gather information on college admission, scholarships and grants.
